As of 9pm, last night, 12/28/21, I am out of Facebook Jail. I learned a lot, worked a lot and missed a lot. I missed being able to respond during the holidays to Family & Friends. I could not extend my well wishes to people during their hard and harder times over the past month. For that I do humbly apologize. The work on this and other blogs that I will use as been keeping me busy, as if my job as a Web Designer does not give me enough of that stuff to do. LOL. I have built these sites to give my voice a home free of Facebooks Algorithms. It is not a matter of free speech so much as it is a matter of human speech. I want my voice to be heard by my fellow earthlings, not by the machines and programs that invent. There is very little human presence monitoring Facebook. Do not fool yourself into thinking there is customer service at Facebook. There is none. You are not a customer anyway. You don’t pay and they owe you nothing. Forgive my harsh outlook, but me and 3 profiles just spent 30 days in FB Jail for posting a picture of a drawing I made in College of a man’s head being studied or migraine headaches from Life Magazine in the 1950’s. They banned me because it violated their standards on “Nudity” and “Violence”. When you have humans creating the media, you get great things like LIFE Magazine. When you have Algorithms creating the media, you end up with Facebook. That image can be seen here… Click Here – It contains no Nudity or Violence, unless you consider a man’s face “Nudity”.
I knew most of this already. I am a professional Web Designer & more. I have a different slant on the Internet having been creating it for the past 25 years. I have watch it change from behind the scenes like none of you can imagine. I however could not imagine how it could be used to abuse itself. More than just me are dismayed by Facebook and it’s way. Even congress is not happy. It is all about money. It is the American way to monetize everything, for better or worse. So now I pay to own this and other blogs, along with the dot coms to go with them. I hope my efforts do not go in vain. You can follow those efforts by subscribing below.
Carry On… Mm
